our home has a small, fully separated basement apartment with a it’s own private driveway, yard and entrance at the side of the house We also have soundproofing in our house. This ensures complete privacy for your family during your stay. While we typically stay in the basement when hosting, occasionally, we also welcome guests downstairs when we're away. We are quiet people and have house rules of quiet hours from 9pm-7am. If we are away during your stay, we always inform the guests who stay in the basement apartment of the quiet hour times.

despite soundproofing that exists there can be some sound transfer between the upper and lower floor Music tends to dully transfer through due to the vibrations, but voices tend not to carry through unless someone is being very loud.
